About Linda Bradley

Linda Bradley is an Associate Professor in Education at the Department of Education, Communication and Learning. She also works at the Pedagogical Development and Interactive Learning unit (PIL) at the University of Gothenburg.

Her research focuses on digital literacy, mobile learning, and the role of technology in higher education and professional learning. Over the past decade, she has explored areas such as language learning, migration and digital professional development. Currently, she leads a co-design project developing a mobile application with a chatbot for long-term unemployed jobseekers. She also co-leads the higher education research hub Digitalization of Society, Revitalizing higher Education research: Learning, IT and Higher Education, reflecting her commitment to innovation at the intersection of education and technology. Another key area of interest is open learning and education, where she has investigated open learning practices in three EU projects, investigating pedagogical and methodological approaches to using digital tools in teaching and learning.

In teaching, she has extensive experience in technical communication and Language for Specific Purposes for engineering students. Currently, she teaches professional development courses in higher education pedagogy with academics and the International Master’s Programme in Information Technology and Learning.
